Middle Velma Lake to Susie Lake

PCT day 2, Monday 9/7/2015: PCT mile 1110 to 1102.

Today Steve and I said goodbye to the rest of the group who had to hike out to Emerald Bay. 

We passed several beautiful lakes and then set up camping at Susie Lake. 

We met our first other PCT hiker, Reggie from Philadelphia. He had previously hiked from Canada to Tahoe and was just starting to finish the rest. He was already hiking 20 miles a day. We were taking it easy and enjoyed ourselves.
